Is Obama Taking Us On Path To Socialism?

During the presidential campaign, I said there was a light whiff of fascism coming from the Obama campaign. That was based on its habit of improperly trying to repress criticism of every kind. Example: A Chicago radio station was planning on airing a critic of President Obama, who was publicizing the candidate’s close association with terrorist Bill Ayres.
Anyone with more than IQ above room temperature. Could have seen this coming, back in the campaign.
Wake up, people. Your Congresscritter doesn't give a flying flip what you think. Your Congresscritter looks down his nose at you and your "pathetic little middle-class existence, intellect and culture". Your Congresscritter LAUGHS at you, and your naive, quaint little notions of representative government. Your Congresscritter howls with amusement at your anger, because he knows that you'll never do anything, beyond a little lip service, to change the system. He's safe as a kitten.

Sitting around "talking" about all of this while doing absolutely nothing is called "dithering". I loathe dithering.

  1. That "light whiff" is now a "overpowering stench".
    Thanks for visiting my blog.
I also want to thank your son for his service to our country, and to you as his parent. I can only imagine your pride.

  2. Oh, I forgot to mention...
The title of your blog brings back memories for me. My Dad taught my brother and I that song when we were little children. I still remember the words and taught my son the song, too.
    Take care!

A jury in the US state of Kentucky has found a former private soldier guilty of the rape of a 14-year-old Iraqi girl and the killing of her and her family.

Steven Green, 24, faces a possible death sentence for his crimes.

Green was discharged from the army because of an apparent personality disorder before his role in the affair came to light.

Four other soldiers are serving sentences of between five and 110 years for their roles in the 2006 attack.

Three had admitted holding down Abeer Qassim al-Janabi, raping her and then killing her, her parents and her younger sister at the family's home in Mahmudiya before torching the building.

Mr Green was discharged from the 101st Airborne Division before the case came to light.

He was the first ex-soldier to be charged under a US law that allows prosecution for crimes committed overseas.

His sentencing hearing will begin on Monday.

In August 2007, Private Jesse Spielman was convicted of conspiracy to rape and murder and sentenced to 110 years in prison for his role in the incident.

Three other soldiers pleaded guilty and received sentences between five and 100 years under plea agreements with prosecutors

  6. "Capitalism demands the best of every man – his rationality – and rewards him accordingly. It leaves every man free to choose the work he likes, to specialize in it, to trade his product for the products of others, and to go as far on the road of achievement as his ability and ambition will carry him."

  7. Great post and comments.

The whiff has indeed become a stench Conservative Lady.

While Oba Mao's" real leanings remain, I believe, socialists/statist, there is no question he has a bit of fascism rolled in as well.
